Legendary house label Strictly Rhythm releases ‘The Remedy’, a vibrant reworking of T.Williams and James Jacob’s ‘The Learning Process’ with Kelli-Leigh’s sultry vocal giving the acclaimed instrumental a fresh and exciting update.
If all instrumentals are born equal, some rapidly become more equal than others. And T. Williams and James Jacob’s ‘The Learning Process’ is about to become more equal yet. Majoring on a classic house jazz-funk piano riff courtesy of Tim Deluxe, the evergreen opus from 2018 metamorphoses into a shimmering vocal thanks to the arrival of Kelli-Leigh, the talented UK voice behind hits by Duke Dumont (‘I Got U’), Second City (‘I Wanna Feel’), and James Hype (‘More Than Friends’).
Released on 8 November on Strictly Rhythm, ‘The Remedy’ looks set to follow the huge success of ‘The Learning Process’, which received heavy radio play including from Annie Mac and Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1, and Après and Billy Kenny on KISS Fresh; DJ support from Tony Humphries, Adam Port, Danny Tenaglia, Jamie Jones, Sonny Fodera, Steve Lawler, Gordon City, Mat.Joe, Golf Clap, Claude VonStroke, Huxley, and Tuff London; and Top 10 in the Buzz Chart.
