TAYA Enlists Tashmeen For A Exotic New Single ‘Rarebreed’ Via REALM

After a successful 2019 in Berlin relishing in the big wins of Circus Recordings and Doorly remix competitions, Australia’s freshest new talent TAYA returns for dance weapon “Rare Breed” feat. Tashmeen on Gorgon City’s REALM label.

Last year, TAYA’s DJ shows scanned the globe, with sets at Pikes in Ibiza, Twisted Frequency in New Zealand, Subculture in New Caledonia and Jenja in Bali. He’s a fast-growing favourite on home turf too, having already performed at Splendour In The Grass, Earth Frequency, Rabbits Eat Lettuce and Bohemian Beatfreaks festivals in Australia.

Support from Erick Morello, Carl Cox, Damian Lazrus and a collaboration with award-winning producer Billy Kenny in the pipeline show growing backing amongst his peers. With previous releases on Doorly’s Reptile Dysfunction, Bassic, Yousef’s Circus Recordings and Recovery Collective, TAYA is not even at the peak of his snowballing career.

Back to Gorgon City’s REALM,TAYA’s Rarebreed boasts splashing’s of exotic pads that echo to his Byron Bay roots whilst Tashmeen’s hypnotic vocals soar over electro-synth with stuttering grooves. Another glistening gem from the rising producer, TAYA’s Rarebreed is sure to be a future favourite for playlists with its unmistakably summery flavor in the months to come.
