It’s been quite a while since we heard from The Chainsmokers and now they are finally out with this brand new, slick track – Side Effects.

The track has beautiful vocals sung by Emily Warren. The Grammy award winning duo have remained in the top charts for more than a year with their work – ‘Memories.. Do Not Open’.

Their EP – ‘Sick Boy’ is their latest release this year which includes a pack of singles like, ‘Somebody’, ‘Sick Boy’, ‘You Owe Me’, ‘Everybody Hates Me’ and the current release is the latest addition to the incredible roster.

The track was out via Disruptor Records and it is one that’s made for the emotive you rather than the club. A soothing tempo and clean, simple feel that it gives is the highlight. Emily has been a constant in their work, doing a brilliant job on the vocals, as she sounds absolutely classy. It’s one for the nostalgic, for the ones in love and the ones addicted, as it reminds you to ask yourself, “What’s my Side Effect?”.

Of the new single, the duo says, “We are proud to bring you our new song, ‘Side Effects,’ featuring our dear friend and frequent collaborator Emily Warren. We felt it was time for a summer jam rooted in the sound we created when we first started making records. Our music is always a current reflection of how we feel, what inspires, and who we are in that particular moment. Enjoy!”

Awards and honours are something these guys have gotten used to, which includes MTV Video Music Awards, Grammys, iHeartRadio Music Award and Billboard Music Awards. The duo will be performing the new release on Good Morning America’s annual Summer Concert Series live from Central Park on August 10 on ABC.

In April last year, American electronic pop duo released their debut album, Memories…Do Not Open. Warren was credited as a writer on four songs, including “The One”, “Don’t Say”, “My Type” and “Wake Up Alone”. She was additionally featured as lead vocalist on “Don’t Say” and “My Type” and provided uncredited backup vocals on “Paris”. She was announced as a special guest on the duo’s American “Memories…Do Not Open” tour and appeared with them for a performance of “Paris” on the April 8th, 2017 episode of Saturday Night Live. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart.

It’s with a lot of excitement that we tell you about this release. What do you think?
