No Geography is set for a spring 2019 release

The Chemical Brothers have announced their ninth studio album, No Geography. No Geography follows the British duo’s GRAMMY®-nominated 2015 album, Born In the Echoes, which was their sixth consecutive U.K. No. 1 album. Additional album details including tracklist and U.S. pre-order information are forthcoming.

No Geography is set for a spring 2019 release and features the exuberant new anthem, “Free Yourself.” The song, which was dubbed “a euphoric, multi-faceted odyssey of blistering synths and deep grooves” by Rolling Stone, was accompanied by a groundbreaking music video directed by longtime creative collaborators, Dom&Nic.

The Chemical Brothers also announce their first U.S. live shows since 2015. The spring 2019 North American run will see the pair perform in Mexico City on May 12, with two stops in Los Angeles at the Shrine Expo Hall on May 15 and the Greek Theatre on May 16. The tour will conclude on May 17 at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The Black Madonna will join as a special guest for the Los Angeles and San Francisco shows. Fans can access a ticket presale for the U.S. shows beginning on December 4 at 10 am PST, with the general on-sale live at 10 am PST on December 7. Mexico City ticket information is forthcoming. The Chemical Brothers also announce details of their biggest U.K. arena tour to the date scheduled for November 2019.

In 2015, the legendary duo – comprising Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands – released their GRAMMY®-nominated album, Born In The Echoes, which featured collaborations with such artists as Q-Tip, St. Vincent and Beck, plus visual experimentation with Oscar-winning director Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep, The Green Hornet) and in virtual reality with Chris Milk.

The Chemical Brothers have sold more than 12 million albums and six million singles worldwide. They have had six No. 1 albums in the U.K. and were the first electronic act ever to receive a GRAMMY, winning in the Best Rock Instrumental Performance category for “Block Rockin’ Beats” – the first of their four GRAMMY wins.
