A quick tip for all those musical treasure hunters out there: tie the artistic capabilities of Liverpool talent Tom Ferry to the effortless and rich vocals of Kiesza and you’ve hit the jackpot.

Their first-ever link-up, ‘I Think That I Like You’, saw its release today on Armada Music under exclusive license from Sadboy Records.

A swirl of summer vibes and eruptive vocals, Tom Ferry & Kiesza’s ‘I Think That I Like You’ has all the hallmarks of an international hit song. Oozing with catchiness, rhythmic magnificence and airwave potential, this song is a burst of color and positivity no dance music fan could ever get enough of.

Tom Ferry: “The song started off as a piano riff and the chorus “I Think That I Like You.” We knew we had something super catchy, so we went through many different versions until we had what we believed was the right fit for radio and clubs whilst allowing the hook to be as impactful as it should be. The lyrics are light and relatable and having a star vocalist like Kiesza really brought it all together. All these elements led to the hooky, deep and radio-friendly gem you hear today.”

Kiesza: “This song takes me to the club right away. That moment when you are just caught up in the music, on the dance floor with someone really amazing in a moment that seems to last forever.”

Liverpudlian Tom Ferry has gone from small bedroom producer to a front runner in U.K. piano house and dance in a mere few years. His first notable achievement came in 2015 when his indie song ‘Plateau’ was picked up by Ultra Music and re-released as ‘Better With You’ featuring Duane Harden, breaching the top 40 of Beatport’s Deep House Top 100 chart. Being no stranger to remixes, Tom subsequently took matters into his own hands with his unofficial remix of Ariana Grande’s hit ‘Into You’, which hit the #1 spot on Hype Machine, accumulated over 3 million plays and was included in Billboard’s ‘Top 8 Ariana Grande remixes of all time’. Since, he has performed on remix duty for the likes of Felix Jaehn, Tritonal, INNA and Giorgio Moroder, clocked up over 32 million streams with his and Mike Mago’s ‘Remedy’ and secured his first BBC R1 premiere with ‘Runaway’ featuring fellow countrywoman Karen Harding. Now, he heads into a year full of surprises, with this impeccable single paving the way for many more brilliant tracks to come.

Kiesza became an instant star in 2014 when her impassioned vocal tune ‘Hideaway’ (which has notched up over 1 billion streams to date) and her top-selling debut album ‘Sound Of A Woman’ topped charts across the globe. Marquee talents rushed to work with her, and the rising Canadian talent soon featured on releases from the likes of Skrillez, Diplo, Duran Duran and Joey Bada$$ while brands such as Fendi and Maison Birks utilised her iconic image in their promotional campaigns. A life-changing car crash and head trauma brought Kiesza hurtling back to earth in 2017 and she has spent the last two years on hiatus recovering. 2020 marks Kiesza’s rebirth; prepare for her triumphant return on her own terms, poised and ready to retake the global stage with her own unique brand of pop music, starting with this brilliant single made in tandem with Tom Ferry.
