Young Dutch DJ/producer Trobi officially releases his first single ‘In The Studio’ featuring Junglebae, out now on Spinnin’ Records. It’s the first ever release by the 17-year old artist, already hailed as one of the newest prodigies in contemporary dance music.
The Dutch DJ phenomenon, who was recently signed to the Dutch label at age 16, has already been receiving lots of attention with his DJ performances (starting at age 9 already). After this, he kicked off his producing career, quickly getting positive feedback from his tracks, including last year’s remix he made of Jay Hardway’s hit tune ‘Electric Elephants’.
Trobi’s style is different though; a warm, unique take on current deep house, bringing organic sounds (incorporating bird sounds as his trademark) and pop vibes, enhanced by nice, subtle details. For this, he is supported and coached by renowned Dutch producer Boaz van de Beatz (known for his productional work with Diplo, Major Lazer, Madonna and Ariana Grande).
And now, Trobi makes his debut with his first official single ever. ‘In The Studio’ sees the youngster work together with Dutch duo Junglebae, and is a strong, pop tinged dance tune that’s going to work club floors perfectly, as well as create a spark with the contemporary pop audience. Solid sounds from one of dance music’s newest prodigies, destined for greatness by the looks of this first milestone!
“This track has been floating around on my computer for some months already. When the girls of Junglebae heard it, they came up with some great ideas and a really strong pre-chorus. Add to this my characteristic bird sounds (something I simply like to do in each production, giving a track the frivolity I’m looking for) and you get ‘In The Studio’.
