Ummet Ozcan has teamed up with 2017’s heavy hitters Lucas & Steve for the overwhelming club tune Higher.
Leaning on heavy DJ support already (incl. Tiësto, Hardwell, Martin Garrix), it’s officially out now on Spinnin’ Records.
Ummet Ozcan can be seen as one of dance music’s ground breaking artists. He’s known for his genre-defying hits, racking up millions of YouTube views, gaining support and working with all the greats out there. Recently, he scored worldwide hits teaming up with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (on the invigorating 2015 tune ‘The Hum’) and Tiësto (2016’s hit record ‘What You’re Waiting For’), and presented some 2017 festival hits with solo singles ‘Everything Changes’ and ‘Showdown’, while continuously touring the globe, performing high profile gigs on several continents.
Dutch duo Lucas & Steve have been leaving their mark on the scene for a while already. Being responsible for quite some festival crowdpleasers the guys made it big this year with the widely acclaimed single ‘Up Till Dawn (On The Move)’, turning into one of summer 2017’s most favored tunes, counting over 23 million streams by now. This followed up on their much supported single ‘Summer On You’ last year, their collab with Sam Feldt turning into a worldwide summer hit (reaching 46 million Spotify streams).
And now, these two powerhouses have combined forces for the club crowdpleaser ‘Higher’. Expect Ozcan’s trademark electro sounds blended with Lucas & Steve’s feelgood house chords, making sure to get any party started. By now, DJ’s like Tiësto, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Aoki, Don Diablo, Afrojack, R3hab and many more have underlined this, playing the track to enthused crowds everywhere.
“We’ve had so much fun in the studio for this one, L & S are very dedicated to the job. It started with a vocal sample we were both coincidentally working on, so Spinnin’s suggestion to team up was a logical thing to do! It was a pleasure to work together on ‘Higher’, possibly room for more:)” – Ummet Ozcan
