Vato Gonzalez has unveiled the diverse and dynamic remix package for his latest track ‘Bump & Grind (Bassline Riddim)’ with house duo Apexape, and Dutch producer Mike Mago, both spinning their own unique and eclectic reworkings of the original.

Mike Mago’s remix, a vibrant horn-led production, relies on deep house chords and follows on from his jam-packed 2017, where the producer played a number of venues and stages worldwide, including Tomorrowland, Amnesia, Ministry of Sound, Creamfields, Mysteryland, and Pacha. Famed for his 2014 hit ‘Outlines’ which turned gold in three countries, and went double platinum in his native Netherlands. The BMKLTSCH RCRDS label owner’s remix is a stark contrast to the rumbling beats provided by Apexape.

The House duo, fresh from the release of their brand new single ‘Whiskey & Cola’, use a brooding bassline and rumbling hooks, with their Vato Gonzalez remix following a series of release on Danny Howard’s ‘Nothing Else Matters’ label, where they have gained unrivalled radio support from the likes of BBC Radio 1′s Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Mistajam to name a few.

Best known for his energetic stage performances and unique future, deep and bass house productions, Vato’s original serves as an embodiment of his signature house sound, underpinned by the reggae tinged vocals of Scrufizzer. Carrying heavy looped chords, ‘Bump & Grind (Bassline Riddim’)’ acts as the vocal follow up to Vato’s instrumental Helldeep release ‘Bassline Riddim.’
