Released on the 13th September 2021, ‘Say My Name’ is an artistic deep house cover on the late 90s classic, crafted by Grammy-nominated producer and artist, Void Stryker.

Accumulating 100,000 plays on all online platforms, ‘Say My Name’ is an electronic modern twist on Destiny’s Child song of the same title, released back in 1999. Now Void Stryker has given the song a fresh revival, filled with engaging electronic rhythms, mellow piano, and melodic electric guitar, capturing the signature ambiance of deep house.

Listeners will instantly recognize the original melody, yet the modulated vocals that set the vibe make this rendition all the more distinctive. This fresh take on the vocal tone sets the song apart and molds the soundscape to showcase his sonic palette while still staying true to the classic.

Void Stryker’s background is vibrant, having worked as a producer and sound designer for the likes of FKA Twigs, Lana Del Rey, and Illenium. While his career advanced by collaborating with a wide range of other artists’, Void Stryker is now taking the reins on his solo project. He is set to release his debut 5-track EP in summer 2022, while preparing for a DJ residency in Los Angeles.
