After making his Monstercat debut earlier this summer, dubstep producer Whales returned to the label today, teaming up with burgeoning producer Misdom for their collaborative single, “Poisons”.
The upbeat vocals and vibrant synth melodies fuse perfectly with the bass-heavy drops. As the track swells, the vocal chops and groovy bassline create an infectious hook while the crisp percussion and dubstep growls take the energy to the next level.
Whales shares, “When COVID-19 started I had a goal to make more pop-influenced EDM tracks. Ones with pop-ish vocals, guitars, and melodic drops, plus heavy elements. ‘Poisons’ is basically everything I love in one song!”
