Legendary grime figurehead Wiley has teamed up with multi-MOBO Award winner Shakka to deliver latest release – Certified, which is out now, just one month after Wiley’s biggest ever show; his headline gig at Brixton’s famous O2 Academy back in March.
An uptempo number laced with a soul-led bassline, and echoes of nostalgic disco records, Wiley’s sizzling flow is perfectly complimented by the smooth vocal delivery of Shakka, who has previously worked with the likes of Idris Elba, Ghetts, Lethal Bizzle, and Wretch 32.
Having embarked on a tour of Australia and New Zealand in early 2018, Wiley’s hectic schedule also saw the icon play dates at Manchester Academy, Liverpool, Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
Serving as a follow up to his recent releases ‘Been A While’ and ‘Remember Me’ Wiley’s ‘Certified’ is out now, preceding the eagerly anticipated release of his next album, ‘Godfather II’.
