Wongo is the notorious DJ, producer, label head and former international break-dancer from the Gold Coast of Australia.

He’s an artist proudly known for shameless irony, even in the depths of a somewhat serious genre. Wongo is an obsessive multi-tasker that always makes sure to advertise the funny side of life. Tic Toc is a new release from a busy body Wongo and featuring artists Blak Trash. The vocals come from this Vegas living duo that thrives off cheeky basslines and chatting parties and girls. The three guys are a well-suited team that is unashamedly partial to a naughty slice of house.

Wongo loves to embrace exhilarating and darkly emotive sounds to express his mischievous personality. As a staple provider for late night anthems, Wongo’s USP as a tech house enthusiast lies in his ability to play with a variety of moods within one live set. His re-imagining of the genre has led to spots at world-wide renowned clubs, and love from heavyweights Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, and Martin Solveig.

Heading for an epic run of releases in 2019, this year marks ten big ones in the industry. In this time, Wongo has delivered a strong resume of absolutely colossal tracks. His most known works include house injections like Mars, the intensely satirical Hollywood and tech-infused single, Relax. Wongo has also flexed masterful muscles on mixes for the likes of Triple J and Skrillex’s Nest HQ. Essentially, we’re dealing with a Beyonce remixer that loves to strut his stuff as a sought-after ghost producer, in between his demanding life as the head of his very own imprint: Box of Cats.

“Tic Toc has been a passion project for me for over 4 years. I always wanted to write a track that was me in every way. A record for the BBOYS but also feeding my love for techno and house music.” – WONGO

Promising that he’ll always sport a suitably stylish Adidas tracksuit, Wongo demonstrates that he’s an innovative artist – who also boasts impressive shapes on the dance floor. The new single, Tic Toc, delivers a satisfying amount of rumbling bass as well perfectly channeling Wongo’s unpredictable, party-loving nature. Undeniably, Tic Toc is a sizzling track that holds a darkly alluring beat, whilst presenting an unnerving desire for a never-ending night.

Wongo – Tic Toc is out now.
