Waxploitation, along with ADIDAS, presents the debut single of WOST titled ‘Giant Robot Dan’ is available now via Waxploitation (Jeff Antebi is the founder of Waxploitation Records).
The track caught the attention of label head Jeff Antebi with its energetic mash up of trap, dubstep, jersey club and bubbling. Antebi liked what he heard. After pitching a few tracks to his contacts, he quickly landed the Adidas commercial.
With the help of a powerful alliance of Waxploitation Records and a new Adidas commercial featuring WOST’s debut single as the soundtrack, the song ‘Giant Robot Danz’, things are heating up! Part of the latest Adidas commercial, as part of the Here to Create Campaign, the song will be used in six different commercials featuring Leo Messi which launched internationally today.
“For this song in particular, I used a Neurofunk Reese bass, with drum and bass breaks. I used elements from kuduro, baile funk, zouk bass, reggaetón, even metal in. I don’t want to make songs that sound like anything people have heard before.”
