Following up on her success from the single “Stick Around”, the Greek artist, Xenia, has embarked on another journey to blur the lines between mainstream success and underground music scene. Here comes a brand new single from the talented artist – “Lay In Your Arms”. The track is out on EDX’s Sirup label.
The soothing vocals provide an exquisitely rich texture to the opening of the track as the piano chords cast their charm in the background. Swiftly, the track moves ahead from an intimate-sounding vibe to a beautiful, groovy one. The guitar works take prominence as the deep voices melt you down, along with the timely appearance of tingling chimes. With a texture that is really vibrant, the track definitely shows you why she’s been on a successful run.
Coming off the experience of working with Pitbull and the Grammy-nominated Wyclef Jean, the artist burst onto the scene with the 2016 summer anthem “Under These Lights” which reached #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. She followed it up another single, “Places”, which made a lot of noise being in the top too. The current release “Lay In Your Arms”, has already seen more than 1 million hits on Spotify, and has been included in the platforms most followed official electronic playlists, ‘mint’ and ‘Dance Hits”.
The track has been supported by the likes of Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Sam Feldt, Swanky Tunes, label head EDX and Mike Williams to name a few. Displaying a clarity of vision when it comes to her artistry, Xenia creatively directs all her music videos to ensure her ideas are realized.
Her reputation is immense as she DJed on the Greece-version of The X Factor, composed music for the revered designer Michael Costello’s Fashion show video, appeared on People Magazine, Runway and Madame Figaro along with leading publications like Billboard, The Huffington Post, and AOL. This has also translated into her association with global brands like Adidas and G-Star Raw and clubbing stints at respected clubs like Ministry Of Sound London, Cielo New York, and Cavo Paradiso.
