Yetep And SABAI Jump On Debut Collaboration For “Lucky Ones” With Leslie Powell

“Lucky Ones” is the latest single and first collaboration between Korean American and Thai/Canadian artists and producers yetep and SABAI.

With acoustic guitar riffs and emotive vocals from Billboard charting singer/songwriter Leslie Powell, the track pulls at heartstrings with immaculate melodic bass production. yetep has been promoting the track at his biggest shows yet at Academy in LA and NOVA SD while SABAI will be playing it Metrosocial in Sydney, Australia and at Rise Rooftop in Houston.

Originally from Thailand, SABAI is a Vancouver based producer who specializes in blending an eclectic mix of future bass & house alongside R&B and pop influences. His debut EP “Where It All Began” was released in 2020 with Monstercat and has amassed over 25 million streams to date.

SABAI quite literally means “comfortable” in Thai – not only paying homage to his roots, but reflecting how he wants the community around him to feel. This feeling can be heard in his music and live sets, which recently landed him a spot on Elephante’s Heavy Glow tour.

Leslie Powell is an LA-based artist and Billboard top charting songwriter. Kicking off 2022, Leslie partnered with Kay Jewelers to start the new year off with her reimagination of “Every Kiss Begins With Kay”, turning it into a viral pop banger that accumulated over 13 billion views on TikTok and was #9 on the viral TikTok Charts.

Leslie was featured on William Black’s single, “Don’t Look Down,” on his latest album, Pieces, which grew to become the #1 album on the iTunes Dance Charts. Her feature on ‘Take Your Time’, by ARTY also reached the top 10 on the Billboard dance charts, landing at #2.
