A Legacy in Music
Joining My Chemical Romance in 2004, Bryar replaced the band’s founding drummer, Matt Pelissier, and contributed significantly to their sound during a pivotal era. He played on the critically acclaimed 2006 album The Black Parade, one of the band’s most defining records, and contributed to the writing of songs for the 2010 album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. Though he left the band before the album’s release, his impact remains undeniable.

After departing from My Chemical Romance in 2010, Bryar explored various pursuits, including working with other bands and eventually transitioning into real estate. In 2020, he paid tribute to Neil Peart, the late drummer of Rush, in a heartfelt remembrance, showcasing his lifelong admiration for the craft of drumming.
