Yung Miami recently opened up about her relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs amid the swirling allegations of abuse against the Bad Boy mogul.

During the Season 2 premiere of her show Caresha Please, the rapper, whose real name is Caresha Brownlee, reflected on her time with Diddy, clarifying that while many women have come forward with serious allegations of sexual and physical abuse, that was not her personal experience.

“I can’t speak on these allegations because I wasn’t around at the time,” Yung Miami explained during her conversation with fellow rapper Saucy Santana. She also noted that she is no longer in a relationship with Diddy. “That wasn’t my experience,” she reiterated, emphasizing that her involvement with him was different from the stories being told by others.

This discussion was the first time Yung Miami has broken her silence on her relationship with Diddy following the multiple allegations of abuse that surfaced against him in late 2023, including a high-profile lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. The lawsuit, which included claims of sexual abuse and sex trafficking, was settled privately shortly after it was filed, but the case reignited public scrutiny around Diddy’s relationships with women, including Yung Miami.

Yung Miami and Diddy were first linked in 2021, with their casual relationship publicly confirmed in 2022. The two were frequently spotted at various high-profile events, including the 2023 Met Gala. Yung Miami, however, consistently maintained that the two were never in a serious relationship. “We have our own situation,” she told The Cut in 2023, adding that they were single but remained close friends.

Despite her own experience with Diddy, Yung Miami has largely stayed silent as more allegations of abuse came to light. Music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones even named Yung Miami in court documents, alleging that Diddy had bragged about paying her and other women to keep them on his payroll. Yung Miami did not address these claims during her appearance on Caresha Please but instead focused on her personal journey.

The ongoing turmoil has taken an emotional toll on Yung Miami, who admitted during the show that the past few months have been mentally taxing. She became visibly emotional during her conversation with Saucy Santana, explaining, “One minute I’m happy, one minute I’m sad. One minute, I’m kinda like, ‘Fuck this shit.’ And then the next minute, I’m looking at my kids, like I didn’t bring us this far to go backwards.”

As allegations against Diddy continue to mount, Yung Miami has made it clear that her experience was different. For now, she is focused on her family and her career, navigating the complicated emotions and public scrutiny that have come her way. The rapper’s decision to address her past relationship with Diddy marks a significant moment in her journey, offering fans and followers insight into how she’s coping with the ongoing drama.
