Diddy’s $61.5M Mansion Pulled from Market as He Sits in NYC Jail

Sean “Diddy” Combs has yanked his $61.5 million Beverly Hills mansion off the market, less than six months after listing it.

The hip-hop mogul, who is currently locked up in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, is facing serious federal charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and fraud.

The property, which was put up for sale last September, has been the subject of controversy, not just for its extravagant features, but because of the alleged drug-fueled parties that reportedly took place within its walls.

The 17,000-square-foot Holmby Hills mansion boasts:

  • 10 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms
  • A 35-seat theater
  • A two-story guest house with a recording studio
  • A basketball court and a spa building
  • A five-car garage

Diddy bought the home for $39 million in 2014, but despite its high-profile location, near the Spelling Manor and Playboy Mansion, his attempt to sell it hasn’t gone smoothly.

In November, an investor made a lowball $30 million offer, just half the asking price. Given the bad press surrounding the home, it’s no surprise that buyers aren’t exactly lining up.

The Mansion’s Controversial History

This isn’t just a high-end real estate listing, the property has been at the center of multiple investigations.

  • In March 2024, federal agents raided both this mansion and Diddy’s Miami waterfront home, seizing drugs, firearms, and over 1,000 bottles of lube and baby oil.
  • Prosecutors claim the estate was used for wild parties, referred to as “freak offs,” where young women were allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted.
  • Diddy’s legal team is now fighting to suppress evidence from the raids, arguing that the warrants were obtained under false pretenses.

Meanwhile, Combs’ neighbors in Brooklyn aren’t quite as exclusive as those in Holmby Hills. His new address places him alongside convicted crypto fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried.

What’s Next for Diddy?

Diddy is facing a minimum of 15 years in prison if convicted on the federal charges.

  • His criminal trial is set to begin on May 5.
  • Multiple civil lawsuits continue to pile up.
  • One of his lead attorneys recently quit, fueling speculation about internal legal issues.

As for the Beverly Hills mansion, it’s likely to sit on the market indefinitely, unless a buyer with deep pockets and no concerns about its past swoops in.

One thing’s for sure: Diddy’s real estate empire is crumbling just as fast as his music career.
