When all we seem to hear nowadays are the news stories of cancellations and postponed events, Eric Prydz decided to share something we can look forward to.

He took to social media to share a post about “limited” Holosphere shows in 2021 and casually tagged Tomorrowland and Creamfields in the caption.

While he was all set to bring his mind-blowing Holosphere show to both these festivals this year, the global pandemic had other plans as both events among most others, stand cancelled.

Known for his spectacular audio-visual experiences, HOLOSPHERE sees Prydz performing inside a LED sphere in front of a huge LED wall, combined with various other next level equipment.

Speaking to The Verge, last year about the mammoth production and the efforts that go into bringing it to life, Prydz said, “What a lot of people don’t realize is that even though they buy a ticket and they come to see the show and it’s two hours, for us, it’s been two years.”

Prydz has come to be known to keep raising the bar, even if it is compared to a previous production put up himself. After EPIC and HOLO, the HOLOSPHERE has till date had only one single outing at weekend one of Tomorrowland 2019 due to the ceiling of the Freedom Stage collasing before Weekend 2 which made Prydz modify his set without the sphere. But that single outing was more then enough to show it was worth it and that Prydz was back with a mindbending experience once again.
