Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ mom, Janice Combs, is facing a lawsuit over claims that she fraudulently took control of a 25% stake in Bad Boy Entertainment from co-founder Kirk Burrowes.
The lawsuit, filed on February 27, 2025, alleges that the stake was transferred under threats of violence from Diddy himself.

Burrowes, who was a key player in the early success of Bad Boy Entertainment, claims he was coerced into signing away his shares in 1996. Neither Diddy neither his mom, Janice Combs have commented on the allegations. However, in October 2024, Janice Combs defended her son against ongoing accusations of sexual assault and misconduct, stating that Diddy was being unfairly judged before having a chance to prove his innocence.
