On April 20, 2018, the music world lost one of the most talented Swedish house producers, Tim Bergling (popularly known as Avicii) and tributes have been pouring in from the music industry ever since. Out of the bunch of beautiful and touching tributes, the one that caught our eye was the live tribute by American rock band, Imagine Dragons.
The Dan Reynolds led band has worked with Avicii earlier, where they penned the track ‘Heart Upon My Sleeve’ from Avicii’s album – True.

Just last week, Imagine Dragons performed at Avicii’s hometown, Stockholm. And they took the opportunity to pay an eye-watering tribute to the Swede. The band decided to dedicate their cover of Alphaville’s ‘Forever Young’ to Tim.
Dan Reynolds poured out his heartfelt message before he dedicated the song to Tim, “He was incredibly humble. Such an artist just wanted to create and put out music to the world. He did not want the spotlight. May his soul rest in peace. May his voice live on forever.”
