The Australian alternative group Rufüs Du Sol had caught the attention of the whole world last year with their album “Solace”.
What comes as a surprise is that the group’s music has made it to the Grammy nominee list!
The 62nd Grammy Awards will see this Australian group alongside Flume, The Chemical Brothers and Skrillex among the others on the nominations.
Their track “Underwater” has been nominated for “Best Dance Recording” and the album “Solace” itself has managed to make a cut into the “Best Dance/Electronic Album” category. “It was a complete surprise. Woke up to my phone buzzing hot with messages of support and congrats from friends. It was a pretty great way to start the day. Did not expect it.”, said Jon George with regards to the same.
We can’t wait for Sunday, the 26th of January to see the results!
