Ever since Ultra Music Festival announced that this year’s edition will be special owing to the celebration of the 20th anniversary of this premier music festival, fans have been speculating around of couple of reunions and comeback performances.
The hype continued to build as the organizers stated, “expect the unexpected”. After all the filtering, the final 2 names that popped up were Daft Punk and Swedish House Mafia.
There were multiple hints dropped by Hardwell, Don Diablo, Kryder and others as the final day headed closer. And the speculations were right. We witnessed the reunion of one of the most celebrated trios in EDM, none other than Swedish House Mafia.
“My name is Axwell, this is Sebastian Ingrosso and this is Steve Angello,” Axwell said as they geared up set the stage on fire. “Miami, you know we are the Swedish House Mafia.”
The reunion of the trio took place exactly after half a decade and it was a dream come true for every EDM fan. Their set was filled with timeless classic such as One, Save The World, Reload, Don’t You Worry Child and In My Mind to name a few. Apart from these, they also debuted new songs from Steve Angello’s album and from Axwell /\ Ingrosso.
