Travis Kelce Credits Taylor Swift for Being His Biggest Cheerleader
In an interview on The Stephen A. Smith Show, Kelce spoke about how having Swift by his side has been a game-changer, both on and off the field. “I’m enjoying all aspects of life. Me and Taylor are happy,” Kelce said with a big smile. “I couldn’t be happier to have that confidence and comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end praised the “Cruel Summer” singer for the way she’s been there for him, adding that their relationship gives him the freedom to focus on his craft. “That’s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship,” he said. “You get that support to focus on being the best version of yourself.”
Stephen A. Smith Joins the Taylor Swift Fan Club
During the conversation, host Stephen A. Smith shared his newfound admiration for Swift’s music after attending not one but two of her concerts. He admitted to spending $20,000 on tickets for his daughter and her friends and said it was worth every penny.
“I said, ‘This better be worth it,’” Smith joked. “And I gotta confess, it was so damn good.”
Kelce couldn’t help but laugh at the story, joking, “She had you singing along the second time? Ain’t that something.”
A Powerhouse Couple Inspiring Each Other
Smith asked Kelce if Swift’s influence extends to his performance on the football field. The NFL star didn’t hesitate to say yes, explaining that her support keeps him grounded and motivated. “It’s because I don’t have to worry about things off the field,” Kelce said, adding that their relationship allows him to give his best for his team.
And the support goes both ways. Kelce has been spotted at Swift’s concerts, proudly cheering her on from the sidelines. “I wanted to be at her concert, making sure she feels supported in everything she’s doing,” he shared.
Creative Sparks Fly in Their Relationship
On The Pat McAfee Show, Kelce was asked if Swift’s songwriting has been influenced by their relationship. While he didn’t spill too many details, he hinted at the creative energy in their dynamic. “Let’s just say the creative juices are always flowing,” Kelce said with a laugh.
As for his role in her process? “I’ll never chime in,” he joked. “But I’m here to support it and see where it can go.”
What’s Next for Taylor and Travis?
Kelce confirmed that Swift will be cheering him on during the Chiefs’ playoff game on January 18, proving once again that their relationship is all about showing up for each other.
From stadiums to concerts, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are setting an example of what it means to be supportive partners. Fans can’t wait to see what’s next for this superstar couple, both on the field and in the spotlight.
