Have you ever accomplished your dreams this young? Well, you can’t beat this. The new DMC world champion is a 12-year-old scratch artist – DJ Rena, and he is absolutely at the top of his game!
The young and mighty DJ Rena has already set a new world record for being the youngest winner, whilst winning the prestigious DMC world title (and winning a cool new jacket).
The DMC battle collaborates with Technics and Ortoon, and has been running for over 10 years. The Japanese DJ won against artists from 16 countries, whilst second place was won by France’s DJ Skillz and third prize was awarded to DJ Spell from New Zealand.
The young prodigy joins the likes of A-Trak, who famously won the title as a 15-year-old back in 1997.
