Brighton Music Conference V Brapp announce activation to cut a record with Roni Size, Zomboy, GotSome and more

Brighton music conference & Brapp are offering vocalists, rappers and producers the chance to collaborate with artists from across the musical spectrum of underground electronic, hip hop and grime.

This year’s conference, taking place at Brighton Dome 14/15 April, focuses heavily on closing gap between music genres, and BMC are working alongside Brapp to give up and coming artists a chance to be heard by and work with legends such as Mercury Music prize winner and drum & bass pioneer Roni Size, and Zomboy, one of the biggest names in bass music.

House music will be represented by Bristol’s Defected duo GotSome, and Toronto’s Cedric Gasaida aka Starving Yet Full, who brought us ‘Hungry for the Power‘ with his previous project Azari and iii.

Vocalist, Ayah Marar, who has had platinum records with the likes of Calvin Harris and DJ Fresh, will also be contributing to the project.

Representing underground hip-hop are High Focus, and RLD Records’ Staple Leaf Dog, known for his work with Sadat X, D.I.T.C. DJ Premier and The Four Owls.

RBMA tipped and Critical Music’s Hyroglifics will be offering his future bass/beats, as are grime producers The Heavy Trackerz and legacy don MC Saskilla aka the Godson of Grime.

Entrants have 2 weeks starting Monday 21st March through to 7th of April to perform on their producer of choices’ beats in the Brapp app, or to tag a vocalist on productions they upload for the chance to collaborate on a track to be released on the official Brighton Music Conference compilation.
