With everyone finding creative ways to use their time during the recommended self quarantines courtesy of the Coronavirus, Alesso decided to share a little ‘How To’ video on TikTok and then to his Twitter.
The DJ and Producer decided to break down the process of making a ‘Big Room EDM Song’ in 6 steps, all in under a minute mind you. He starts by saying “
1. Find some chords,
2. Make a nasty bassline,
3. Play a melody with a lot of delay,
4. Add too many layers of the same melody,
5. Make your own kick drum, (by slamming down on the table)
6. Find a friend who can easily write a topline in 2 minutes”

Marshmello and Dillon Francis were among a few who responded to the tweet showing their agreement.
While a lot of fans asked if he would release this, others were quick to point out the samples used are from Alesso’s latest release in collaboration with DubVision called, “One Last Time.”
Other DJ’s like Nitti Gritti are also jumping on the bandwagon and looking to ‘collaborate.’
Haha i love it 👍🏻 https://t.co/OoTPp7rhRi
