Marking a fresh start as 2020 draws to an end, Alesso has signed a brand new Worldwide publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music.

Commenting on the deal, the details of which are not disclosed, Alesso said, “I’m very excited to be joining the Warner Chappell family and looking forward to working on tons of new music in the coming months.”

Just 2 days ago, Alesso had also sparked a lot of excitement among his fans with a simple tweet that teased a whole lot of new music that was on the way from him in 2021.

Arvid Frisk, Head Of A&R, Warner Chappell Scandinavia, said, “We are thrilled to have Alesso in the family, he’s one of a kind and looking forward breaking boundaries with him and the Shalizi team.”

Alesso began his journey to stardom back in 2010 when he released his debut EP ‘Alesso EP.’ This caught the notice of Sebastian Ingrosso who took the then aspiring artist under his wing and became somewhat of a mentor to Alesso. In 2014, Alesso earned himself a Grammy nomination for his remix of OneRepublic’s “If I Lose Myself.”

It was only a matter of time that Alesso cemented himself at the top of the ranks in EDM. In 2014, he earned himself a Grammy nomination for his remix of OneRepublic’s “If I Lose Myself” and also got signed to Def Jam Recordings, becoming only the second EDM artist to sign to the label.

Over the years Alesso has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the worlds of Pop and EDM, from David Guetta to Calvin Harris and Tove Lo to Usher, to name just a few. Alesso’s latest single in collaboration with Charlotte Lawrence, “THE END”, is his first to be published by Warner Chappell.
