The grand Techno festival will not happen this year due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Awakenings has been one of the beacons of the underground community and has been offering state of the art Techno festivals on an annual basis. Just like every year, Awakenings announced their festival featuring a stellar line up. This mega event was supposed to happen on 27th and 28th June.
However, things turned out for the worse when the Dutch government called for an extension of protective measures which included calling off of all events that were scheduled to happen before the 1st of September.
Awakenings made an announcement regarding the unfortunate postponement. Read it below.
Awakenings organizers have also mentioned that they will be postponing the event to 26th and 27th of June 2021 and that there will be an email sent to the patrons within 24 hours which includes further options.
After many big festivals being cancelled one after the other, it is no surprise that Awakenings is also cancelled. 2020 has been a dry spell for the Festival scene. However, everything is done for the greater good of the community.
