The electronic dance music community has extended their love and support following the gruesome attack on innocents in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017. More than 60 innocents died and more than 500 were injured at the recent shooting at Route 91 Harvest Festival.

As an act of unity and love, renowned music duo The Chainsmokers took to social media to share their feelings about the tragic event.

“The only solace at this moment is reading about the stories of bravery certain individuals showed to one another while the chaos transpired and reading about the incredible response of people around the country donating blood and helping in any way they can.”
The Chainsmokers said in an Instagram post.

The duo also decided to donate $100,000 each and visited the Sunrise Hospital where the victims are currently being treated and called for changes in policy in the hope for stricter gun laws in the US.
