Belgian techno powerhouse and the world’s #1 Techno artist Charlotte de Witte hosted one of the biggest sold-out shows of her career, KNTXT Konnected in her native Belgium at a packed out Flanders Expo.
Last year the acclaimed producer hosted ‘KNTXT presents Charlotte de Wite – All Night Long’, the biggest edition of KNTXT until then. On Saturday 4th February, Charlotte de Witte returned to the legendary venue for the first edition of KNTXT Konnected, a unique concept in which solo sets and back-to-back sessions seamlessly morph into each other.
ONYVAA, Enrico Sangiuliano, Charlotte de Witte, Indira Paganotto and Alignment performed in front of more than 18,000 techno fans. It’s an international crowd from 55 different countries. Besides the Belgian audience, the Netherlands, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, Greece and Portugal made the top 10. Charlotte de Witte herself visibly enjoyed the energy of the crowd and is extremely proud that after months of preparation, her new concept finally came to life in her hometown of Ghent.
“KNTXT Konnected is something you’ve never seen before. I was very curious to see how the production would come together, as that is a very important aspect for any KNTXT show and it’s so epic!” Charlotte de Witte explains.
“It’s also really cool to see how the sets of the KNTXT Family morph into each other. I’m not known for doing a lot of B2B sets myself, so I was hugely looking forward to this! And the fact that this is all taking place in my hometown in such an iconic venue, just makes everything more thrilling!”
An iconic show at a legendary venue which included show stopping production, in collaboration with the Tomorrowland team and Live Nation, Flanders Expo was transformed into a true rave temple. Charlotte de Witte shows exactly why she’s a force to be reckoned with.
