A recently resurfaced CIA document has reignited global fascination with one of the Bible’s most mysterious relics – the Ark of the Covenant – and this time, the government may have more than just myth on its hands.
According to a declassified CIA remote viewing file, the agency used psychic spies to locate the sacred artifact in 1988 – and the results are jaw-dropping. The session, performed under the now-infamous Stargate Program, assigned a remote viewer the target without telling them what they were looking for. The target? The Ark of the Covenant.
What the psychic described matches biblical accounts in chilling detail:
“A container within a container, made of wood, gold, and silver… similar in shape to a coffin… decorated with seraphim.”
The viewer claimed the artifact was buried in a dark, wet, Middle Eastern location, surrounded by Arabic-speaking men in white garments and mosque domes nearby – and most shockingly, “guarded by entities.”
“Anyone trying to force it open is destroyed by its protectors… using a power unknown to us,” the document reads.

The document – declassified in 2000 and now going viral again – contains drawings of the Ark, glowing seraphim, and cryptic notes about its “resurrection-related” purpose. One of the most spine-chilling lines suggests the Ark “cannot be opened until the time is deemed correct.”
But while the vision sounds straight out of an Indiana Jones film, not everyone’s buying it.
Retired Army Warrant Officer Joe McMoneagle, a pioneer of the CIA’s psychic warfare program, slammed the document as “bogus.”
“If remote viewing proves the Ark exists, then show us the Ark,” he told the New York Post. “This was just a training exercise.”
Still, believers argue the eerie accuracy of the vision – especially details about the Ark’s shape, materials, and guardians – is hard to ignore.
The Ark of the Covenant, believed to have held the Ten Commandments handed down to Moses, has remained lost to history for centuries. Its location is one of the most debated mysteries in archaeology and theology.
Now, with declassified CIA files suggesting they may have “seen” the “Ark Of the Covenant” psychically, that mystery just got a whole lot deeper.
