After many heartbreaking postponements and cancellations, Coachella festival is set to come back in April 2022.
Due to the raging pandemic, Goldenvoice had to postpone Coachella three times and ended up cancelling the 2020 edition all together.
The pandemic also soiled the plans of a Coachella in 2021. This led to a lot of discussion about the future of the festival among the patrons. However, a post made by Coachella organizers made it clear that the festival is coming back after the two-year hiatus.
Coachella will make its grand return to the famed Indio valley for two weekends with the first weekend being 15th to 17th April and the second being 22nd to 24th April. Although the festival schedule is confirmed, the lineup has not been declared yet.
The cancelled 2020 line up included artists and groups like Thom Yorke, Fatboy Slim, Lana del Ray, Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean, Disclosure, FKA Twigs, Denzel Curry, Flume etc.
Fans who are willing to buy tickets for Coachella can register here (https://coachella.com/) to access the 2022 advance ticket sale which will commence on June 4th, at 1 p.m. ET.
Those who register for the sale will be sent a unique purchase code via SMS and Email on the morning of the advance sale. The code will remain valid until the public sale ends and can only be used once.
While Coachella’s lineup remains undisclosed, please keep an eye on this space as we bring you the latest festival updates.
