The Belgian festival giants Tomorrowland have teamed up with Rock Werchter to announce a brand new festival called Core.
The two day festival is set to take place in Osseghem Park in Brussels on the weekend of May 27-28th. The festival will see both teams bringing together an event that brings together music, art and the natural surroundings of the park, the events home.
The festival will be spread over 4- stages which will have multi-genre offerings from electronic music, hip-hop, indie, and rock acts. The festivals line up has been announced yet, but with names like Tomorrowland involved, you can come to expect nothing but the best when it comes to that. The unique boutique festival which will host around 25,000 visitors a day will go on from noon to midnight.
The event also promises to offer “an ensemble of impressive and unique art, sound, and light installations that blend harmoniously will awake all senses, complemented by an exquisite food experience.”

Speaking about the brand new event in town, Brussel’ Mayor, Philippe Close said, “We are very proud that Tomorrowland and Rock Werchter, two of the most important players in the world of music, are coming to Brussels with this new concept. A total experience of music, art and nature.Brussels celebrates and thus enables the event, cultural and hotel industry to breathe again.”
