A Skrillex x Avril Lavigne collab you say? We say why not!
This would definitely be an unusual collaboration, but with Skrillex, there is no telling. He manages to surprise us each and every time with the mind-blowing list of collaborators he has had in the past.
The rumours sparked after Avril shared a story on Instagram featuring Skrillex. An Avril fan page on Twitter shared the video with a caption saying more new music?

While neither of them mentioned anything about a collaboration, or appeared to be in a studio of any sort, her sharing the video on social media alone was enough to get the rumour mills going.
As Your EDM rightly pointed out, in 2020 alone, we’ve seen Skrillex in and out of the studio with a plethora of musical acts like Mike Einziger of Incubus, Bruce Johnston of The Beach Boys, Scott Storch, Slipknot, Suicide Silence, Limp Bizkit, Tech N9ne, among many more!
