It’s the day so many have waited for: Free Cone Day at Dairy Queen has finally arrived, serving up free small vanilla cones to customers today at participating locations around the country.
It is an annual event on the first day of spring, which has grown into a tradition among all ice cream lovers, who love celebrating seasonal changes with a sweet treat.
Free Cone Day will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2025, coinciding with the spring equinox. The event is nationwide, and customers can get a free soft-serve cone until supplies last.
What does Free Cone Day include?
At participating locations, customers can get one small vanilla cone per person. The free cone isn’t available for delivery or mobile orders via the DQ Rewards app. The offer is in-store only, one per customer.
