David Guetta sued for allegedly copying track to create ‘dangerous’

David Guetta is facing a $6million lawsuit after an 80s artist sued him over Guetta’s track, ‘Dangerous’.

Andre Dudek claims that Guetta’s worldwide hit “Dangerous” is identical to his track entitled “Illuminations” which he wrote back in 1980 but didn’t have the composition copyrighted until 2015. Dudek claims not only did Guetta profit millions of dollars off the record hitting number one in over a dozen countries, but he also gained business opportunities with T-Mobile after the track was featured in one of their advertisements.

Dudek has filed a federal lawsuit against Guetta, singer Sam Martin, Warner Music and Atlantic Records and is demanding a court-ordered injunction against them from being able to further distribute and profit from the track.

Do you think anything’s gonna happen? Or will David Guetta’s legal team squash the matter?
