Sean “Diddy” Combs, once the celebrated hip-hop mogul, is in deeper legal trouble as over 10 new lawsuits are expected to be filed against him in the coming days.
This adds to a growing list of over 30 civil suits and federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering that have put his career and reputation in jeopardy.
Recent allegations and lawsuits

Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents several of the accusers, said recently that he intends to file the lawsuits before the March 1 deadline of a New York law that temporarily allows victims of past sexual assault to sue regardless of the statute of limitations.
One new lawsuit filed in New York outlines an accusation from a 23-year-old male who said that back in 2015, he was drugged and assaulted by Combs following a performance opportunity at a Los Angeles nightclub. It is alleged that Combs, using his influence, lured the plaintiff into an afterparty where he was then drugged and later assaulted while he was in and out of consciousness.
Combs’ Defense and Legal Response

His legal team has vehemently denied the charges, terming them “baseless” and pointing out that “the truth will prevail in court.” They said he has never committed sexual assault or trafficking in his life. Jay-Z, who had earlier been named in a suit in which Combs was accused, has filed for dismissal, denying any involvement.
Mounting Federal Charges
In addition to civil lawsuits, Combs is facing serious federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. He remains in a New York jail while awaiting trial. Prosecutors have added several accusers to the case, bolstering their position in the push for conviction.
What’s Next?
Upcoming lawsuits are likely to detail the years of Combs’ alleged misconduct. As the cases mount, the pressure is piling up, and lawyers say it could make all the difference in his legal strategy and sentencing.
Industry Fallout
The legal tribulations of Combs have sent ripples across the music industry, with some past collaborators disowning him. His once-dominant record label, Bad Boy Records, experienced a precipitous decline in business, while a number of lucrative endorsement deals fell by the wayside.
The fans and the industry are still divided, with some continuing to side with Combs, while others want him to be held accountable. The upcoming trial and civil cases will probably determine his fate. As the lawsuits continue to mount, one thing is evident: Sean “Diddy” Combs’ days in court are far from over.
