In 2017 Gramatik, real name Denis Jasarević, embarked on his current US Re:Coil Tour and took some time off to finish up a number of open projects.

Looking ahead in 2018, Gramatik has just announced he will be capping the year’s festival season with a highly-anticipated annual return to the legendary Colorado venue, Red Rocks.

Much like the people he admires (think Elon Musk, Nikola Tesla and the like) Gramatik continues to forge his own path, navigating the precarious waters of the music industry with the prowess of an ancient sailor, and proving himself as a relentless musical force along the way. Following two attention-grabbing collaborations in 2017 – first with GRiZ on “As We Proceed” and then with Ramzoid on a remix of Flume’s track “Wall Fuck” – he announced his next big release, “Re:Coil Part I,” with three singles that showed he has no problem tackling different genres. Gramatik then headed out on a huge fall tour across the EU, visiting 26 cities along the way and celebrating the release of a highly anticipated new EP at the legendary Parisian venue- Zénith Paris. Even still he had another ace up his sleeve.

As one of the pioneering artists embracing crypto-culture and the new blockchain-based technologies that work towards decentralization, he launched his own token, GRMTK, in collaboration with SingularDTV on November 9th during his show in Zurich. Gramatik will be testing them in 2018 when his follow-up “Re:Coil Part II” is completed and ready to drop.

The main live event of the year will undoubtedly be his September 1st show at Red Rocks, which to this day remains one of Gramatik’s favorite places on Earth. He will also be bringing some incredible talent with him starting with special guest and recent Lowtemp signee, Balkan Bump, who has just released his debut EP and will be joining Gramatik on stage for his set. In charge of bringing the crowd to a boiling point, Gramatik has also recruited three additional acts to warm up the stage prior to his headline performance: Gryffin, Haywyre, and Ramzoid.
