Highly revered techno DJ/producer Ilario Alicante has emerged triumphant at this year’s DJ Awards, scooping the Best Techno Artist gong.
Up against the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick, Amelie Lens, Charlotte De Witte, and Nastia during the ceremony, held at Heart Ibiza, it was Ilario who came away victorious in the category, as voted for by members of the public.
Having recently released his darkly dynamic ‘Luce’ EP” on cocoon recordings a cosmic production packed with synth-laced flutters, Ilario Alicante is widely recognized as a DJ of the highest order, first performing at the iconic Time Warp when he was still only 15. An integral member of the respected Cocoon family, Ilario has since become an Ibiza mainstay with bookings at cocoon, elrow, ANTS, and Paradise this season and sold out Sankeys on their opening.
