It’s that time of the year again. Discovery Channel’s annual Shark Week kicked off last weekend on July 28 and will run through August 4.
As Discovery Channel themselves explain, the pop culture phenomenon will take viewers to oceans around the world as nearly two dozen of the world’s most respected marine biologists and science institutions deliver compelling insight into the mysterious world of sharks.
Talking about sharks and EDM would be incomplete without the mention of probably the only link, none other then Jauz! Diving into SHARK WEEK for the first year is esteemed DJ and producer Jauz who is partnering with Discovery Channel in a variety of ways. In addition to being the nightly DJ on the late-night talk show “Shark After Dark”, Jauz also launched a collaborative clothing collection, proceeds from which will be partially donated to wildlife charity Ocean Conservancy.
I know I’ve been really quiet about #sharkweek this year so far… because this is by far our BIGGEST shark week yet. I’m going to be on #sharkafterdark on @Discovery ALL WEEK!!!! 😱
Tune in LIVE TONIGHT at 11pm on Discovery and DiscoveryGO and support ur fav shark live on tv 🦈 pic.twitter.com/zn1B6OFnBG

He will also be guest-starring with DJ and Producer Marshmello on a special Shark Week Edition of “Cooking With Mello.” Jauz’s hyped remix of “Baby Shark” will be used on-air during this week and across Discovery Channel’s Snapchat over the course of filming.
Hosted by comedian Rob Riggle, the late-night talk show which is focussed around all things Sharks, will have special guests such as Mark Cuban, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Adam Carolla and more.
In the meantime, we’ll just leave this here.
