deadmau5 has just deleted all of his social media accounts and gone dark!
Yep, its true, and its not that surprising. Deadmau5 has been acting pretty emo lately and in a shocking move, has deleted all of his social media accounts. Deadmau5 posted a message on his Facebook earlier criticising his fans, though we not have access to it any longer as it was removed.
The post mentioned:
“you’re just another number we can all add into our little follower count.”
referring to the artist’s fans across the world.
This isn’t the first time the mau5 threatened to back away from social media. Though he never did…
Rumour has it that the mau5 will be going dark for quite a while to produce new music in his newly made studio. Though we are yet to see when that music comes out and if Joel Zimmerman will truly return as deadmau5 or not. Joel recently tweeted the idea of giving up the deadmau5 moniker completely!
“meh. considering killing off the “deadmau5″ bullshit and just start something new. did it before, can do it again. fuck it. why not.”
Mau5 was pretty upset with the way artists have been working in the electronic scene with specific reference to good friend Skrillex & singer Justin Bieber. Though nobody knew it would lead to this…
This was one of mau5′ last videos where he clearly seems agitated and disgusted.

Whatever it is we do hope to see Joel back in action and sincerely hope that he doesnt give up being deadmau5. I mean you didn’t fight a year-long lawsuit with Disney to give up the mask after winning. Plus, who will be the ‘rage professor’ now?
