A four-day music festival that began as a touring event in 1991, Lollapalooza has become an annual event. A number of different genres of music are available, including alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop, and electronic music.
Every year, the festival hosts an estimated 400,000 people and sells out. It also features visual arts, nonprofit and political organisations. In addition to being the largest and most iconic music festival in the world, it is one of the longest-running.
Moving forward, the festival has announced a series of comeback festivals following a long hiatus caused by the pandemic. The festival has revealed their lineup for Lollapalooza Paris, kicking off the year with artists and bands like Imagine Dragons, David Guetta, Malaa, Vini Vici, Anitta and Vald, etc taking the stage on Day 1 Saturday.
Pearl Jam, A$AP Rocky, Megan Thee Stallion, Illenium, Joyride and White Reaper are set to blow the roof off on Sunday.
Although fans have mixed emotions regarding this, nothing will prevent them from seeing their favourite artists live. As part of this announcement, both Lollapalooza Argentina and Lollapalooza Brazil have also released their lineups for 2022.
