One of the most awaited EDM documentaries, ‘What We Started’ featuring the likes of Carl Cox and Martin Garrix is all set to release in select theaters on March 24. Fans with no access to those theaters need not worry as the documentary will be available on popular streaming platform, Netflix from June.
All credits to @themartingarrixhub for dropping the news about the release date.
‘What We Started’ was first premiered on 15th June ’17 in Los Angeles. The documentary presents 3 decades of EDM by zeroing in the careers of Carl Cox and Martin Garrix.
The movie also features stars such as Afrojack, David Guetta, Ed Shreeran, Steve Angello and Tiesto to name a few and it mainly focuses on the evolution of electronic dance music.
In the trailer, we see some of the veterans really unhappy with the direction that genre is heading towards, which was made evident by Seth Troxler statement, “How is a 17 year old kid the f**kin’ face of dance music?”
