FC Barcelona’s new kit reveal had already gotten a lot of people talking about it.
The football club has now released a video to reveal the new checkerboard patterned team kit, which features music from the duo AREA21 which is comprised of Martin Garrix and Maejor.
The jersey now is patterned with squares as opposed to the earlier striped version. Gerard Pique said, “It might be different but it is 100 percent Barca and it is even better that the design represents the bond the club has with the supporters and the people who are driving the city forward.”, regarding the new design.
The video features many prominent faces from Barcelona, including Catalan drummer Marc Ayza, trap band SamxSen, scientists Laura Soucek and Marie Beaulie, researcher Diana Ballart, artist Albert Barqué, young chef Carlota Claver, photographer Berta Vicente, model Candela Capitán and of course the Barça players.
