The Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival is officially postponed amidst the health emergency declared by the governing body of Riverside County.
The first case of COVID 19 was confirmed in Riverside County which forced the officials to declare a health emergency. This forced Coachella to push back on its massive festival plans.
The esteemed festival posted the sad news through their social media handles.
Coachella has been moved to October 9th and 16th of this year and the tickets will be honoured on the very same date. however, if the patrons choose to not attend the festival, they can get their tickets refunded. Details for the refund will be announced by the officials on Friday i.e. 13th March.
There are also strong speculations that the lineup might be changed as the artists might not be having a free schedule on the said dates. This might also lead up to Coachella cancelling their festival.
Coachella now joins Ultra Music Festival, South by South West and many more landmark festivals that got cancelled due to the COVID 19 Outbreak crisis.
