Just under 4 weeks remain until Parklife festival hits the scene, and it’s just been announced that the festival has officially sold out for what’s set to be their biggest year to date.
With a huge array of acts spanning dance, hip-hop, grime, indie and pop, this year’s festival will see Manchester locals The 1975 headline on Saturday 10th June, followed by a heavily anticipated performance from Frank Ocean on Sunday 11th. Grime collective Boy Better Know, plus A Tribe Called Quest, Two Door Cinema Club, Stormzy and Jess Glynne are also featuring – while American hip-hop super-group Run The Jewels have just been added to Sunday’s Main Stage.
Eight massive stages of music will cater to over 70,000 fans per day, taking Parklife, which is now in its eighth year, right on course to cement itself as one of the UK’s leading music festivals. Known all over for its eclectic line-up selection, the festival also offers an extensive afterparty series named ‘Afterlife’ which will see many of the festival artists perform across the city.
