It takes place at one of the most respected and revered venues not only in the capital, but on the planet, the iconic O2 Academy Brixton featuring a world class line up of the scene’s biggest & best DJs and live acts including Playaz head honcho DJ Hype who goes b2b with king of the dubplates, respected by the masses DJ Hazard, the latest D&B supergroup taking the world by storm Problem Central (made up of Low Down Deep’s Logan D, DJ Majistrate, Eksman & Evil B), one of the fastest, hardest spitting mic controllers in the game, original junglist & world famous ragga soldier General Levy, the sensational DJ Rap, leading the charge for the females, who makes her highly anticipated return to this illustrious venue following her earth-shattering recent comeback, Playaz’ award winning duo & jump up kings Annix plus very special guests bringing their own electric flavour, representing UK hip hop’s finest, on their long awaited Playaz debut, the mighty trio Foreign Beggars who step up to bring the ruckus!
This event comes hot on the heels of an impressive run of sold-out shows at Electric Brixton, the O2 Academy Brixton for NYE, a debut Printworks show, as well as an almighty Playaz stage at SW4 for the consecutive year. Until last year, Playaz had held a residency at fabric for 17 years but this latest chapter is proving to be the most exciting yet for the unstoppable brand. The night is of course attached to Hype and Pascal’s long respected label which continues to turn out the most fresh and innovative sounds in drum & bass coupled with some never-seen before acts who will make a debut for Playaz as we prepare for their most exciting Halloween show of all time!
