International music producer, EchoSlim, is set to produce Reggae fusion artiste, Nelson Serieux’s, upcoming EP and album, entitled The Awakening and The Renaissance respectively.
These collaborative projects come on the heels of the duo’s first joint performance at Florida International University’s Bayfest, a music festival with headliners including Migos, Trina, T-Vice and Dexta Daps.
The duo have already taken to the studio, cranking out tune after tune, including the single, “I’m Leaving,” which will be featured on the new EP. The single samples the popular Bitty McClean song, Walk Away From Love.
“The most exciting part of this collaboration is the ability to create without boundaries,” said EchoSlim, “the beauty of working with a fusion artiste like Nelson is that his voice is so versatile. You’ll always hear the Reggae undertones, but I think everyone is going to be blown away by the range of vocals and genres for these projects.”
