Skrillex took to social media last week to share once again that he is working on upcoming albums, not just one, but multiple.
In the post where he announced he would be canceling his upcoming shows at Movement Detroit, as well as Tampa Sunset Music Festival, he shared, “Over the past few months I’ve been working very hard on finishing my albums and haven’t had enough time to prepare for the upcoming shows.” Both shows were scheduled for the last week of May.
In the post, he went on to say, “I hope you can all understand that this was a very difficult decision for me to make but I’ll be back soon with the show you all deserve.”
Skrillex released his last album ‘Recess’ which came back in 2014, and fans have been waiting for 8 years since. However promising the news we have heard multiple times from Skrillex about multiple bodies of work may be, it’s sure bittersweet in this case as it comes with news of shows which are few and far between for him, being canceled.
